Results of SSPC member vote to combine with NACE

To Our Members Worldwide,

We’d like to thank you for taking the time to cast votes and share comments about the proposal to combine SSPC and NACE International. We’re excited to announce that the results are in and that the participation was the highest in the history of each organization. An overwhelming 88% of SSPC voters and 89% of NACE voters approved the combination. Read more in the press release at sspc.org/sspc-nace-vote-results.

This momentous step will provide new opportunities for both memberships and help us do even more to protect the world’s infrastructure.

What does this mean?
Changes will occur incrementally and, during this transition, member services for both organizations will continue to operate as usual. Over the next few days, weeks and months, leaders from both organizations will convene to determine next steps and provide members with periodic updates.

This combination will bring the best of both organizations together and facilitate your access to information, education, training, certification, standards, and much more. In addition, we look forward to the opportunity to include useful new benefits as we bring together capabilities, technologies and services that enable us to better serve all our members.

What happens next?
SSPC and NACE will jointly host two Town Hall Meetings the week of May 11th to discuss next steps and respond to comments submitted by members who voted.
